Farewell Franklin
Ron Franklin was at ESPN for a long time, until he showed his true colors. At the Chik-Fil-A pre-game coverage in 2010, he sent reporter Jeannine Edwards to the sidelines – which would have been fine, except he called her “sweet baby” in the process. Edwards was understandably unhappy with this demeaning nickname, and requested that he not do so again…to which Franklin responded with “fine, [explicit].” Franklin was immediately fired from the network – to which we say, “fine, [explicit].”
