Bill Creasy Doesn’t Get His Sleepovers
Bill Creasy was ESPN’s first president of programming – but he wasn’t the first president named Bill to have a scandal of a certain type. In 2004, a 74-year old Greasy Creasy ordered his 30-year old assistant to attend ‘sleepover meetings’ at his mansion. When the woman refused, she was fired – but didn’t take that lying down. She quickly filed a sexual harassment suit – go, Melissa, go!

ESPN Chose Roger Goodell Over Fair Reporting
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is known for being extremely unhappy about the recent publicity regarding the NFL and concussions. PBS (which was an ESPN partner at the time) was planning to show a ‘League of Denial’ – a 2013 documentary about the exact subject Goodell hates discussing. After a meeting with Goodell (and a cool $15 billion deal), ESPN left its partnership with PBS before they aired the documentary. Talk about selling out – literally.
