ESPN Chose Roger Goodell Over Fair Reporting

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is known for being extremely unhappy about the recent publicity regarding the NFL and concussions. PBS (which was an ESPN partner at the time) was planning to show a ‘League of Denial’ – a 2013 documentary about the exact subject Goodell hates discussing. After a meeting with Goodell (and a cool $15 billion deal), ESPN left its partnership with PBS before they aired the documentary. Talk about selling out – literally.
