We are sure that you are also saddened by the existence of food waste. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores throw away food daily. Fortunately, Aldi is an exemption to the rule. The chain donates the leftover food to Feeding America, a non-profit organization. We are glad to hear that they do not simply dispose of the items they could not sell.
