Ideal Vs Reality
Claudia and her daughter Ava live in Lakeland, Florida. In the two months after she gave birth two Ava, Claudia easily became known as a protective mom. Claudia barely left her daughter’s side and the ideal would be if they never had to be apart. But, of course, the reality is that she has her work responsibilities as well. Claudia received a call from the office that asked her to attend a business meeting. It would require her to leave Ava at home, but she was hesitating about doing so.

Once she finished the call, Claudia immediately listed her choices. However, none of the options she came up with seemed to be particularly attractive. It was a choice between missing out on an important career opportunity or stay home and take care of her daughter. Claudia had already taken her maternity leave in the months previously as well as a couple of sick days to take care of Ava. She knew that she had to go to the meeting. What she didn’t know was that this choice would result in something bewildering.
