Jennifer Grey
80’s films such as Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Dirty Dancing are iconic and always will be. As is the acting of Jennifer Grey in both films. Grey even earned a Golden Globe Award nomination for her hit role alongside Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing. Since then she has won season 11 of Dancing with the Stars and also starred in the comedy series Red Oaks.
Phoebe Cates
When we mention Phoebe Cates, we have to mention Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Gremlins. Since her two biggest movie roles, Cates continued acting but would retire in 1994 in order to raise her children. Although in 2001, she returned to the big screen in The Anniversary Party as a favor to a friend.
