Hardcore Pawn is a documentary about the Gold family, who own and operate a pawn shop in Detroit’s rough 8 Mile neighborhood. Can you believe the number of strange people who pass through their shop each day? Aren’t many of the arguments presented on the show implausible? In fact, this is the case. According to many of the people who appeared on the show, the “fights” were staged. What are the chances that Ashley, Les, and Seth will get into a fight with a customer in each episode?
