Her words actually made her mother tearful when she told the crowd that Goldie was immune to failing as a mother. Hudson also quipped that “I always thought I’d be talking about them at like a wedding or something. But since a wedding doesn’t seem to be in our near future, ever, this may be my only opportunity.” They might not be interested in holy matrimony, but this was definitely an occasion they will remember for the rest of their lives.
