This Teacher Made A Horrible Judgement About Her Second Grade Student

Published on 04/26/2020

Kamdyn Piland’s parents once saw him upset and close to tears on his return from school; they asked what had happened but he tried to brush it off. His parents kept asking him questions until he finally presented them with a report that had the horrible judgment of his teacher.

Unhelpful Piece Of Criticism

His father, Chris, saw after looking carefully at him that his work was not a reassuring critic. He saw it as a personal assault on his child and therefore, he could not let it slide. His reaction to this became global, now let’s see what the teacher has to say!

Unhelpful Piece Of Criticism

Unhelpful Piece Of Criticism

A Regular Kid

Kamdyn was your regular kid, according to his dad. He wasn’t a hyperactive boy, and he didn’t enjoy video games, television programs, and sucrose food. The whole family of Piland was very shocked to hear that this teacher at his school had incurred all sorts of criticism from him.

Something Serious

Chris began to wonder, when he saw the note on the schoolwork, whether this meant anything serious. Afterwards, he started examining the topic more deeply. He was startled at what he discovered.

Something Serious

Something Serious

A Regular School

Kamdyn is currently in the 2nd grade at Valley View Elementary School. Valley View is just a regular public school. This boy wasn’t what other people would call an overachiever.

Many Complaints

However, his parents had the feeling that he was doing very well in school. We saw no serious problem at all. But, since the beginning of the school year, Chris ‘ worries about Kamdyn started to grow.

Good At School

His father also believed Kamdyn was a good student. The son had been a regular, young child in many aspects. There’s contempt for any child out there. And until he entered second grade, Kamdyn had no trouble finishing his assignments.

He Couldn’t Just Watch

Chris had trouble just sitting and watching his son struggle more and more. He realized it was time for him to take the initiative. What’s happening here?

Struggling In School

Kamdyn wasn’t a smart or slow kid, but Chris could see the frustrations of his son. Chris did not think it was in nature for his son to do poorly in school when his grades started to go down.

Way Too Harsh

His dad knew it had to do with the educator when he arrived home with criticism of Alyssa Rupp Bohenek, his son’s teacher. “Absolutely pathetic!” said the note. “Within 3 minutes, he answered 13! Sad!” It was too rough for Chris to comprehend.

Screenshot 19

Way Too Harsh

Ms. Alyssa

Teacher Alyssa Bohenek was the only one to write it, who reportedly worked there for some time. As a teacher, that was hard to please; she had a reputation. Kamdyn was in her class, and clearly, they didn’t get along so far.

All that Kamdyn did would catch her attention, and a stern written warning would be issued for every mistake he made. Such negative feedback affected this poor child’s confidence and self-esteem.

Addressing Bad Grades

Neither parent likes to hear that their child does poorly at school. Nevertheless, it is best if the problem is resolved sooner rather than later. Debates also focused on how to handle poor grades.

Tough Love

Many cases are where you have to spend more time with the child to work through the lectures. Further lessons are expected in some situations. For this young child, “tough love” works hardly ever.

Constructive Criticism Please

There may be adverse reactions from many people. We understand that it will take time when you have to deal with it, but when you address it constructively or respectfully, it always seems to become more manageable.

A Huge Blow

Criticizing for entertainment often affects the confidence and self-esteem of one person immensely. How much more would it affect a child if it is given by a figure of authority?

As A Mentor

Being a mentor is not easy, but we all acknowledge that one needs to be a good role model for this work. A teacher is not just someone who, indeed, can certainly lecture and guide their students.

As A Mentor

A Leader

They must also guarantee that they become effective leaders who will have a positive impact on their students ‘ lives. Bohenek, regrettably, did not fulfil this part of the job from the way things happened.

Not Helpful Whatsoever

Chris can’t be at fault for getting angry with the teacher’s remark on the homework of his child. For it was unnecessary, and she went too far. Why couldn’t she just give him constructive feedback rather than personally attacking him?

Only Made Things Worse

And he knew that such actions could not benefit him at all, but Chris just wanted his son to do better in school. There was a good possibility it only deteriorated the situation a tad!

A Recurring Problem

Could this be Mrs Bohenek’s only negative comment that year? If so, Chris could not have made such a commotion out of it. It turns out, though, that since the start of the school year she has sent the same type of feedback.

A Recurring Problem

Far Too Personal

Most of them were far too intimate. If the criticism is fair and balanced, Chris would have just spoken with his son. He knew he had to talk with his son’s teacher after finding out everything about it.

Took To Facebook

What type of teacher calls their student “pathetic?” Chris believed that all pupils should be treated fairly by teachers. It was also better to inspire her pupils rather than criticize them too unfairly when their grades were terrible. It would have been more effective.

The success of all these kids must be tough to support. But Chris did not believe that the harsh comments that she left for her son were acceptable. After all, Kamdyn was only a child wanting to learn.

Chris was ready to leave it be after he placed the post on Facebook. However, the internet looked as if it hadn’t advanced yet. Someone promptly launched an online appeal for Bohenek to be fired.

The complaint converted the situation into a serious one. Bohenek was able to hide from work until she finds a way to protect herself from all the setbacks. Chris was still so upset at that point that he expected her to be fired.

The Line Has Been Drawn

After all, the future of his son and other children who attended the school seemed like the most significant part of the story. Sometimes you have to draw a line, and that was the one moment they had.

Teaching How To Learn

One of the teacher’s most underestimated duties is to encourage students to have fun studying.  It is important to remember, when you are a teacher, the students bestow only the substance of the course material.

The other aspects of school become a piece of cake if you can do so. When students understand the process, they seem to do better and faster in processing a bit of information. The propagation of discontent is not of great help…

It had about 10,000 signatures after the petition was made on behalf of Kamdyn. Even so, some teachers began to speak up for Bohenek. She did not deserve to be fired for what she did, according to them.

As far as the teacher thought Kamdyn was a seven years old child, he had something to say. “I was furious. And [ it was ] just mean thing to do.” None of it should make us let the child feel that if you are telling us. “She made me sad and angry. ”

Later on, he said in additional news outlets, “You don’t say that in a paper of anyone, let alone a young seven-year-old, a paper of a second-grader,” he answered just 13 in 3 minutes, and he looks utterly miserable. Kamdyn said, “It broke my heart.”

On this matter, Chris had much more to say. He was utterly dissatisfied with the whole ordeal. “I think it was quite disrespectful and insufficient what you wrote about his report; but she said was sorry, If that’s how I felt,” he stated.

Teachers, parents and other adults are those that form these little ones into what they will be in the future. The school intended to investigate the situation further and ensure that justice had been done. Chris released an update saying, “I am glad to report that the teacher involved is now being investigated by the school board in Valley View with all the contributions and support of the committed people who signed and submitted the petition.”

It is necessary to ensure that they can accomplish their assignments and give the students proper lessons. While the students ‘ grades may imply that a teacher is successful, it is also important to note their method, their style and their techniques of teaching.

In the debates that took place in the threads, a question arose. Some think teachers also need more instruction just because a person trained as a teacher does not mean that they are capable of the job.

They Need Mentoring

The teachers themselves must be guided in many instances! Each class has its own challenges, and each pupil has its own problems to deal with. One must learn, as a teacher, how to address these difficulties.

Those following the story discovered that in the last few months Bohenek had become pregnant. Shortly, she would have her child! Some assumed that the hormones might cause her to behave grumpier than usual and always impatient.

Finding Some Inspiration

The plot, however, just raised another issue. How would she do if she’s in the same situation as Chris was? Is she going to let it go or instead make a statement? If you’re a teacher, you should know that it’s essential to build your students ‘ creativity.

Finding Some Inspiration

Finding Some Inspiration

A Creative Approach

This means the professors must also be motivated. If you feel dismayed or have personal problems, you can’t carry this feeling inside the classroom. An inspired teacher is more up-to-date and constructive, promoting stronger student engagement and better results.

Maybe this is the main problem of the plot. It is essential to ensure that teachers are in the right spirit as often they have such an enormous impact on children’s and other students ‘ development.

Do you ever get the chance of finding an inspirational teacher? If so, you know that everything will hopefully go a long way. Educators don’t have to rely on themselves or anything like it. Ideally, though, the class would progress.

Sometimes the more attention the students receive to the credibility they need. Instead of what she ended up doing, Bohenek would probably have opted. Such children are the future at the end of the day and need guidance for successful roles.

Most of the online reactions to the teacher were negative. As you would imagine, more than enough people had to talk about the topic and then reflected on their views on the post and the petition. “The second-grader was bullied by his teacher[…],” Beth O’Brien, resident of Peckville said. “They ought to be fired, I suppose.”

Shouldn’t Happen

What he did was look out for his family, Chris explained. He didn’t just try to make someone quit their job. “This is something that should not and can not be accepted,” he added. “It should not happen.” Chris had moved Kamdyn to a new class in addition to filing a complaint.

The feedback online was mixed, but most of them are on the same topic. Yvonne was so angry at the actions of the teacher, and here, like Chris, he discussed this issue. She is one of the reviewers who probably won’t help the teacher any longer.

Ill Spirited

There are always those people who are rude for no apparent reason, and sadly the social media are overrun by such people. For instance, this man chose to be smarter than the problem in hand to focus on the mathematical abilities of Kamdyn. He does not seem to understand the issue here is the actions of the educator, not the skills of Kamdyn.

Not Bad

Rose, another commentator, had the same notion as Chris, and most people honestly figured. It isn’t awful in the second class to answer 13 math questions within three minutes, at the age of seven. Surrendering a remark such as that Kamdyn is undoubtedly not bad enough.

Not The Only One

This is not an uncommon problem. Many children had issues with a strict teacher and were in similar situations as Kamdyn. Similarly to the son of Karen Eubank, such case occurred.

4th Grade

The nine-year-old son of Karen made complaints, but she didn’t take it so seriously, to his cruel teacher. She assumed that he had just changed schools and needed time to accustom himself to the new surroundings. This is common for young children who switch schools.

She was also not wholly assured because children often call people when they are rude. For starters, when they advise a young student to do their work, they can assume that their teachers are hard to please.

Apparently, Karen’s judgments were utterly wrong. She figured it was all right, and her teacher wasn’t harmful to her son. When it occurred, she had every reason to be upset, and that’s precisely what happened.

Before she decided to move her child, Karen visited the new school. From the beginning, she was so happy about it. Sadly, her son didn’t feel the same and said he didn’t want to go to school. Karen became eager, upon learning this, to reach the bottom of it. To understand the problem, she arranged meetings with the teacher and principal. They acknowledged that they had never seen the teacher with a smile on her face as Karen spoke to other parents in a class. The teacher picked him and was harsh, her son said.
