Professional golfer Arnold Palmer, also known as “The King”, is one of the most iconic golfers to live. Palmer was so popular that in 1968, he trademarked his own logo and name. Although the charismatic player passed away in 2016, he has many awards and firsts under his belt. Arnold became the first to win $100,000 in a season, and became the first golfer to ever pass the $1 million mark. In 2001, Arnold Palmer Enterprises began bottling the Arnold Palmer® Tea And Lemonade Beverage, a 50/50 mix of tea and lemonade. The drink is now embedded into the American culture, as well as the food and beverage industry. Arnold Palmer was worth $700 million when he passed away.
