Tim and Faith have had their song lyrics scrutinized many times. Especially when it’s directed at something negative. “I know that sometimes you hate me/We spend most of our days together with you trying to change me,” the duet goes. Faith also sings that she “like[s] a good fight,” and she “know[s] how to press those buttons. And if [she’s] a little angry, [she] can press those buttons big time.” Sometimes though, lyrics are just lyrics. It’s your interpretation at the end of the day.
