Since 2005, he has been playing the role Jesse Stone, a transplanted lawman. This role is from a series that was inspired by a made-for-TV movie based on Robert B. Parker’s novels. Currently there are nine films and recently Selleck himself began to produce episodes. In fact, film five, Jesse Stone: Thin Ice, was not a novel adaptation but rather an original story created by Selleck!
