From High School Friends To Roommates
Reese Werkhoven, Lara Russo, and Cally Guasti were friends from school. These three young people shared an apartment unit located in New Paltz, New York, around 75 miles away from New York City. It was during this time in their lives that they made an astonishing discovery. At the time, Reese was a junior geology student at SUNY New Paltz, Cally was a Mount Holyoke College graduate, and Lara was also a fresh graduate. Their friendship dated back to their high school days. Now, young adults, they were in the middle of refurnishing the apartment, particularly the empty space they called their living room. On a furniture-hunting mission, the three went out and found just what they needed: a couch. There was just one problem in their way.
